Enter your known letters and constraints to find the perfect 4-letter word.
Green: Letter is correct and in right position
Yellow: Letter is in word but wrong position
Gray: Letter is not in the word
Ever wondered what a faster round of Wordle looks like? Four-letter spinoffs cut the word down by just one letter, which sounds small but actually narrows the valid word list a lot compared to the standard puzzle.
This 4-letter Wordle solver takes your green, yellow, and gray clues and returns every word that still fits, sorted so the most useful next guess sits at the top.
1. Mark your greens. Place each confirmed, correctly positioned letter into its box.
2. Add your yellows. These letters belong in the word, just not where you first guessed them.
3. Mark your grays. List every letter your guesses have already ruled out.
4. Run the search. The solver filters the full 4-letter list down to what's left.
● TEAR — pairs a vowel with two of the most frequent English consonants.
● CORE — tests a different vowel plus common letters that barely overlap with TEAR.
● MINT — a strong third guess — it introduces M and N, which the first two don't cover.
